If you’re a fan of Jelly Belly’s extra-
ordinary jelly bean flavors, such as
Margarita, Pink Grapefruit or Toasted
Marshmallow, head to the Visitor Center,
found half-way between San Francisco and
Sacramento.
There, you can take a self-guided factory
tour that follows an elevated quarter-mile
tour lane for a bird’s-eye view of the opera-
tion below. Along the tour, HD videos
explain the process you’re watching below.
And, for more enjoyment, play a couple of
interactive games along the tour.
The Visitors Center also features a large
candy store, with a wide variety of Jelly
Belly flavors and candies. And the Jelly Belly
Café serves both breakfast and lunch,
offering unique menu items such as bean-
shaped burgers and pizza.
Be sure to view the curated collection
of framed works displayed in the Bean
Art Gallery with amazing mosaics crafted
CAFÉ ENTRANCE, left; Sea of Beans, right.
by talented artists using only Jelly Belly
jelly beans.
Since Jelly Belly also makes high-quality
chocolates, stop by the Chocolate Shoppe and
Fudge Counter. Or book a Chocolate & Wine
Experience, which perfectly pairs local Suisun
Valley wines with hand-made chocolates.
To experience the self-guided factory tour,
head to: 1 Jelly Belly Lane in Fairfield, CA.
Tour tickets cost $5 for adults and $2 for
children.
