Palm Springs is the place to be. It is an
easy place to get to with Palm Springs
International Airport boasting sea-
sonal direct service from many cities in the
U.S. and Canada.
The weather forecast will likely read
something like this: Thursday is going to be
“sunny, nice and warm,” and Friday will
have “plenty of sunshine.” Saturday will
likely be “mostly sunny” and Sunday will
promise “a full day of sunshine.” You get
the idea…
Palm Springs offers a relaxed vibe that’s
rejuvenating. There’s a combination of
great weather with a small-town feel that
works its magic like no place else. There’s
not that much traffic and it’s easy to get
around. Think stress free.
Destination Uptown/Downtown
Palm Springs’ boldly revitalized downtown
is spotlighted by the new downtown park.
This 1.5-acre public space hosts outdoor
events and concerts. And Palm Springs has

As you head north, you’ll be welcomed
by the Uptown Design District with its chic
vintage shops, designer boutiques, alfresco
restaurants and boozy cocktail lounges all
offering amazing views of the mountains.
It Has That Mod Style
Renowned as the Mod Mecca, Palm Springs
beckons design-savvy visitors with the
world’s largest concentration of “mid-mod”
homes and public buildings. The global
appeal peaks every February for Mod-
ernism Week—the ultimate celebration of
the distinctive desert aesthetic—when
many homes of luminaries who have lived,
loved and played in Palm Springs are open
to view. The downtown Palm Springs Art
Museum Architecture & Design Center, in
a stunning 1960s mid-century building,
showcases sensational design-related
exhibits. Plus, the vernacular style can be
